Deluxe Synchro Tilt Mechanism Adjustments (DST)
1. Seat Slider
In the seated position, lift the lever and slide the seat to the
desired position.
2. Seat Height Adjustment
To increase seat height, lift the lever until desired seat height is
reached.
To decrease seat height, sit in chair and lift the lever until desired
seat height is reached.
3. Telescoping Tension Control
From the upright sitting position, extend the handle and turn forward
to increase the tilt tension. Extend, and turn the handle backward to
decrease the tilt tension.
4. Tilt Lock
When you have reached the desired tilted angle, rotate the tilt lock
lever backwards to lock the position. To unlock the tilt, from the
upright sitting position, turn the tilt lock lever forward and then
lean back in the chair to activate the anti-kickback feature and
unlock the chair. |

FLUID WITH DST MECHANISM ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Fluid chair!
In order to
attach the
Fluid back with upright to the seat equipped with a DST mechanism,
please read
and follow the instructions below.
Please note that you will need a ½” flat or socket wrench (not
supplied) to
assemble the back and seat.
Place the seat on a sturdy, secure surface with the mechanism facing
up
and ensure the seat assembly is resting on the front edge of the seat.
Insert the Fluid back assembly into the corresponding slot found at
the back
of the Fluid seat assembly. The upright metal tab must slide under
both
metal rods.
Align the holes in the upright tab with the holes in the mechanism and
insert
carriage bolts with the heads facing the seat and ends protruding
towards
the base of the chair.
Place the nuts over the bolt ends and tighten them until you feel
resistance.
Please make sure that the square lead of the carriage bolt is fully
inserted
into the corresponding square openings in the mechanism.
Tighten the nuts using ½” flat or socket wrench.
Please do not over
tighten! |
